Scope

This Cookie Policy explains how Canticle.cc uses cookies, local storage, and similar technologies. It supplements the Privacy Policy.

Counsel note: This page is an operational policy for the public Canticle site. It is not a substitute for attorney review before paid checkout goes live.

Necessary cookies and local storage

Canticle uses necessary cookies and browser local storage to operate core site functions, including:

  • Authentication sessions and signed-in account state
  • Security, abuse prevention, and request integrity
  • Remembering that you are signed in across page loads
  • Basic UI state required for Console shells, Docs MVP gating, waitlist forms, and account-gated downloads

These technologies are required for the features that depend on them. Disabling them may break sign-in, Console, gated docs, or download unlock flows.

Analytics

Canticle.cc uses Google Analytics to understand traffic and usage patterns. Google Analytics may set cookies or use similar identifiers to collect device and usage information such as pages visited, approximate location derived from network data, browser type, and timestamps.

Analytics helps Canticle measure demand, improve the site, and detect unusual traffic. Analytics is not used to sell personal information.

Preference storage

Canticle may store preference data in cookies or local storage, such as UI preferences, dismissed notices, form draft helpers, or waitlist/update choices that you explicitly set. Preference storage is optional for browsing public pages, but some convenience features may not persist if it is blocked.

How to control cookies

  • Use your browser settings to block, delete, or limit cookies and site data.
  • Use Google Analytics opt-out tools or browser privacy controls where available.
  • Sign out of your Canticle account to end an active session on that browser.

Blocking necessary cookies or local storage may prevent account features from working. Blocking analytics cookies generally does not prevent public browsing.
