Acceptance of These Terms
By accessing or using Canticle.cc, creating an account, submitting a form, downloading software, requesting beta access, or using any related feature, you agree to these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site or services.
These terms are written for a live public site and product surface. They are not a custom legal opinion. If you need legal advice, talk to a qualified attorney.
╭─ 02 ─╮
Who Can Use the Site
You may use the site only if you can legally agree to these terms. You may not use the site if you are barred from doing so under applicable law, if your access has been suspended, or if you are using the site on behalf of someone else without authority.
The site is not directed to children under 13. Do not submit personal information if you are under 13.
╭─ 03 ─╮
Accounts and Beta Access
Some features, including downloads, beta programs, account-gated pages, or private research previews, may require an account or approval. You are responsible for the information you provide and for activity under your account.
- Use accurate signup and contact information.
- Keep your login credentials and session access secure.
- Do not share private beta access, private download links, private docs, or nonpublic materials unless Canticle gives written permission.
- Canticle may approve, deny, limit, suspend, or revoke access at any time when needed to protect the site, users, software, research, or legal interests.

Waitlist, Plans, and Paid Services
The hosted-SEAM waitlist is not a subscription or purchase. Joining the waitlist is free, requires no card or bank-account details, does not authorize a charge, and creates no paid entitlement. A waitlist response only records your interest in a planned tier. You will not be charged or back-billed for any waitlist period.
Billing may begin only after hosted access is ready, Canticle invites you, you review the final features, price, usage limits, renewal terms, cancellation method, refund policy, and these Terms, and you affirmatively complete checkout. Silence, a waitlist response, an account, or prior beta use is not payment consent.
- Planned launch plans: Starter is 12 USD per month with 20,000 managed 1 KB writes and 5 GB of active hosted storage; Pro is 39 USD per month with 100,000 writes and 25 GB; Max is 99 USD per month with 400,000 writes and 100 GB. Self-hosted SEAM remains free.
- Billing and renewal: launch plans are monthly-only. After affirmative checkout, a paid plan renews monthly until canceled. The checkout and account surface will state the cancellation method before purchase; cancellation stops later renewals according to the timing disclosed there.
- Usage and overages: each started 1 KB of accepted managed input counts as one write unit. If you separately enable overages, additional writes are planned at 5 USD per 10,000 and active storage at 0.25 USD per GB-month. Overage charges will not be enabled without clear disclosure and authorization; service may instead be limited, rate-limited, or paused at the included allowance.
- Models and provider charges: hosted plans are BYOK. Model-provider usage is contracted and billed separately by your chosen provider and is not included in Canticle plan prices.
- Payment processor and taxes: the payment processor shown at checkout will collect payment-account details and display the supported card and/or bank-debit methods before purchase. Canticle has not selected or configured a processor yet. Applicable taxes, if any, will be disclosed at checkout.
- Refunds and billing corrections: the refund policy shown at checkout applies, subject to applicable law. Canticle will investigate metering or billing errors and correct them with a refund or account credit when appropriate. No specific trial or refund window is promised by these Terms.
- Service changes: planned features, prices, allowances, rate limits, and availability may change before activation. For an active paid plan, material changes will be disclosed before they apply as required by law, and continued use or renewal after the stated effective date means you accept the updated terms.
- Cancellation, export, and deletion: you are responsible for exporting data you need before access ends. Cancellation does not automatically delete an account or hosted data. Available export and deletion methods, wind-down timing, and any operational limits will be stated in the applicable account surface or service notice, subject to the retention rights described in the Privacy Policy.
- Beta boundary: hosted access may begin as an experimental beta. Unless a separate written agreement expressly says otherwise, no uptime, support-response, backup, recovery, data-residency, or service-level commitment applies.
Pre-launch gate: paid checkout will remain disabled until Canticle has selected and configured a payment processor, completed the applicable operational launch gates, and received counsel approval for the final checkout terms.

Your Content
You keep ownership of content you submit, including messages, form responses, feedback, bug reports, files, or other materials. You give Canticle a limited license to host, store, process, review, reproduce, and use that content as needed to operate the site, respond to you, provide downloads or beta access, improve services, protect against abuse, and comply with law.
You are responsible for what you submit. Do not submit anything unlawful, confidential without authority, malicious, infringing, deceptive, or harmful. Do not submit secrets, private keys, production credentials, or sensitive third-party data through public forms.
╭─ 06 ─╮
Canticle Content and SEAM Materials
Canticle owns or controls the site design, text, graphics, branding, demos, documentation, research summaries, benchmark presentation, and other materials on the site unless a separate license says otherwise.
SEAM software, source code, binary downloads, examples, and related artifacts may be governed by separate license files, repository terms, or download notices. If a separate license applies, that license controls for the licensed software. These site terms still apply to your use of Canticle.cc and account-gated services.
╭─ 07 ─╮
Acceptable Use
Use the site like a responsible operator. You agree not to:
- Attack, overload, scrape aggressively, crawl abusively, probe, scan, or bypass access controls.
- Upload or transmit malware, exploit code, spam, phishing, credential theft material, or intentionally harmful content.
- Impersonate another person or organization, misrepresent your affiliation, or submit deceptive account data.
- Use the site to violate law, infringe intellectual property, harass others, or distribute abusive or hateful content.
- Reverse engineer private beta systems, gated services, or site infrastructure except where a separate open-source license expressly allows it.
- Resell, mirror, or redistribute private downloads, beta materials, or restricted research previews without written permission.
- Interfere with analytics, authentication, download gates, payment/donation flows, or security features.
Security research: responsible reports are welcome. Do not access, modify, destroy, or exfiltrate data that is not yours, and do not disrupt the live site.

Software, Downloads, and Research Materials
SEAM, demos, dashboards, benchmarks, and research materials may be experimental. They may change, break, be withdrawn, or produce incomplete or unexpected results. Benchmark numbers, documentation, screenshots, demos, and research descriptions are informational, not promises of future performance.
You are responsible for evaluating software before using it in any production, regulated, safety-critical, financial, medical, legal, or high-risk environment. Back up data before testing tools that ingest, transform, index, compress, or store files.
╭─ 09 ─╮
Feedback
If you send ideas, suggestions, issues, corrections, feature requests, benchmark notes, or other feedback, Canticle may use them without restriction, compensation, or obligation to you. Do not send feedback that you cannot legally share.
╭─ 10 ─╮
Third-Party Services
The site may link to or use third-party services such as GitHub, Google Analytics, Supabase or other authentication/storage providers, payment or donation platforms, social sites, and hosting providers. Those services are controlled by their own terms and policies. Canticle is not responsible for third-party sites or services.
╭─ 11 ─╮
Platform Enforcement and Access Control
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Canticle may suspend, terminate, delete, remove, disable, restrict, rate-limit, block, or refuse any access, account, submission, feature, integration, or service for any reason or no reason, with or without notice.
This includes accounts, profiles, posts, comments, uploads, shared memory assets, agents, skill files, downloads, beta access, API access, integrations, messages, or other content. It also includes activity performed by or through agents, bots, scripts, API clients, model-to-model interactions, automated tools, crawlers, scrapers, or delegated systems.
Canticle may act when it believes conduct, content, automation, or access creates legal risk, security risk, operational risk, abuse risk, intellectual-property risk, privacy risk, reputation risk, service load, user harm, Terms violations, law-enforcement or compliance concerns, or conflict with the purpose of the platform.
Canticle does not have a duty to host, preserve, distribute, index, rank, recommend, restore, or continue providing access to any account, agent, skill file, memory pack, download, post, profile, project, integration, or other material. Canticle may update these terms by posting a new version on this page. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms.
╭─ 12 ─╮
Disclaimers
The site, services, software downloads, demos, documentation, and research materials are provided as is and as available. Canticle makes no warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, security, accuracy, or error-free operation.
Nothing on the site is professional legal, financial, medical, security, compliance, or operational advice.
╭─ 13 ─╮
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Canticle and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, security incidents, business interruption, or loss of goodwill arising from your use of or inability to use the site, services, software, downloads, demos, or research materials.
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Canticle's total liability for any claim related to the site or these terms is limited to the greater of 100 USD or the amount you paid directly to Canticle for the specific service giving rise to the claim in the three months before the claim.
